The Operations Collective
Consistent Support for Business Owners
Running a business can feel surprisingly isolating. Even when things are going well, you’re often the one carrying the weight of every decision, every challenge, and every next step.
The Operations Collective was created to give small business owners a place where they don’t have to figure everything out alone. This small, carefully curated group meets monthly to talk through real operational challenges, share ideas, and support each other in building stronger, more sustainable businesses.
Dedicated Time for Your Business: Each month you have space to step back from day-to-day work and focus on the operational decisions that move your business forward.
A Small, Curated Group: With only four members and no industry overlap, the group stays confidential, collaborative, and focused on real problem solving.
Consistent Accountability: Regular meetings and ongoing check-ins help ensure good ideas don’t just stay ideas. Members are encouraged to follow through and report back on progress.
Peer Insight and Collaboration: You gain perspective from other business owners who understand the realities of running a company and can share what has worked for them.
Support Between Sessions: Our private Slack channel allows you to ask questions, share updates, and stay connected between monthly meetings whenever you need support.
Some members join the Collective because they want a consistent sounding board as their business grows. Others come because they know they work better with structure, accountability, and a group of peers who understand the realities of running a business.
Between meetings, members stay connected through a private Slack channel where questions, updates, and ideas can be shared as they come up. The group also has access to a shared Notion workspace that includes meeting schedules, member information, and a growing library of resources to support ongoing learning.

Each monthly session follows a simple structure so every member has space to focus on their business.
We begin by revisiting the previous month’s conversation and checking in on action items and progress. This helps keep momentum going and allows members to share what worked, what didn’t, and where they may have needed to pivot.
From there, each member has dedicated time to talk through their current operational challenge or priority. The order rotates each month, so everyone has equal opportunity to lead the conversation and receive focused feedback.
These discussions often turn into collaborative problem-solving sessions where members share ideas, experiences, and perspectives.

“Running a business doesn’t mean you have to carry every decision, every challenge, and every ‘what do I do next?’ alone.”
The Operations Collective is intentionally small so every member has space to participate and receive meaningful support. Each group is designed to be a confidential environment where members can share openly and work through real operational challenges together.
Each Collective group includes:
- A maximum of four business owners
- No industry overlap to protect confidentiality
- Rolling enrollment when space is available
- A three-month commitment to allow time for real progress
Because the Collective is designed to be collaborative and participatory, members are invited to join after completing a brief application and having an initial conversation to ensure the group is the right fit for everyone involved.
Membership is $50 per month with a three-month commitment, billed quarterly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during the monthly group sessions?
Each session runs for at least 90 minutes and is structured so every member has time to focus on their business. We begin by revisiting the previous month’s action items and progress, then each member has dedicated time to talk through their current operational challenge or priority. The order rotates each month so everyone has equal opportunity to lead the discussion.
What if I can't attend one of the sessions?
Consistent participation is encouraged because the Collective works best when members are actively involved. If you need to miss a meeting, you can still stay connected through the Slack channel and catch up on key takeaways. For confidentiality reasons, sessions are not recorded and make-up sessions are not offered.
How do I join the Operations Collective?
Joining begins with a conversation and a brief application. This helps ensure there is no industry overlap and that the Collective is the right fit for everyone involved. If a space is available, you’ll be invited to join the current group. If the group is full, you’ll be added to the waitlist for the next one.
How do I know which service is the right starting point for my business?
You don’t need to figure that out on your own. Many business owners begin with a conversation where we talk through how their business currently runs, what feels heavier than it should, and what kind of support might be most helpful. From there, we can decide together which option makes the most sense as a starting point.
Do I need to know exactly what I need before reaching out?
Not at all. Some business owners reach out because they are facing specific operational challenges, while others simply want space to think through ideas, clarify priorities, or plan their next steps. The initial conversation helps bring clarity to what kind of support would be most helpful.
Can we work together if I am not located in your area?
Yes. Most services can be delivered virtually, so location is not a barrier to working together. For business owners who prefer to meet in person, I currently offer in-person services in Fauquier County, western Prince William County, and surrounding areas within about a 40-minute drive of Warrenton, Virginia. In some cases I’m also able to travel a bit farther depending on the project.
