LMJ Strategy is pleased to announce its membership with the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce. As a Warrenton-based operations consultancy, LMJ Strategy is committed to supporting small business owners throughout Fauquier County with practical operational structure and sustainable growth strategies.
Warrenton, Virginia — LMJ Strategy, founded by local business owner Laura James, works with small business owners to develop clear, practical operational structures that support sustainable growth. James recently joined the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce as part of her continued commitment to the local business community.
With more than 20 years of experience in small business administration, office management, and entrepreneurship, and having grown up in a family-owned business herself, James understands firsthand the realities of running and growing a small business.
LMJ Strategy provides strategy sessions, custom operations flow design, and ongoing implementation support. Rather than applying corporate frameworks that may not translate to smaller teams, James collaborates directly with business owners to build solutions that fit their specific stage, capacity, and long-term goals.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our community,” said James. “When owners build strong operational foundations, they create the capacity to grow, support their teams, and contribute locally. There’s a lot of noise about what business owners ‘should’ be doing. My role is to cut through that and build clear, practical operational structures that support sustainable growth.”
In addition to her work with LMJ Strategy, James serves as Vice President of the Kettle Run Band Boosters Association.
